CURTAINS

Long established as a beautiful way to dress a window as well as providing Excellent Insullation in Winter and Sun Protection in Summer Curtains are having a resurgence in the marketplace, you only have to look at the designer magazines to notice it.

Whatever you want.... Modern, contemporary or traditional, original but more importantly beautifully made, the skilled workers in our workroom have for the last 25 years enabled you to discover a whole new meaning to window furnishing design.

With the new Modern headings like Ripple Fold also called S Fold and the popular Box Pleated and Pinch Pleated through to Decorative Curtains with Swags Tails and Fringe Trims, down to a simple Out Straight Heading nothing is a problem

RIPPLE FOLD / S FOLD

Ripplefold or S Fold curtains take their name from the rippled nature of the heading, which looks very similar to the effect of a traditional rod and eyelet heading but with the advantages of a true runner based track system. Because the heading is on a track the curtains can be both hand or cord operated.

PENCIL PLEAT

Pencil pleat curtains have a stringed 75mm pocket tape heading to accommodate varying styles of curtain hooks, creating a tighter gathering curtain. Best used to decorate & conceal curtain tracks or curtain rods with rings.

PINCH PLEAT

Pinch Pleat curtains have a 100mm woven Buchram heading tape to accommodate varying styles of curtain hooks with a pre-sewn pinched design. Best used to decorate & conceal tracks or curtain rods with rings.

GOBLET HEADING

These are made in the same way as the Pinch Pleated curtains but in Goblet Pleat, instead of making the single tuck or folding into a triple one, only the base is secured, forming a short cup. This is a designer way of heading.

BOX PLEAT

If you are looking for a smart tailored look for your furnishings the Box Pleated curtain with its exact pleat spacing always gives your room that sophisticated look, working beautifully with any type of fabric either as a Sheer or a Blockout Lined curtain very popular if you are looking for that New York style.

FRENCH PLEAT

The French Pleat is a very European type of Pleating extremely popular with Interior designers after that French Farmhouse feel Working beautifully with Linens both as Sheers or Lined also works with trying to achieve the Hamptons Look which is very now.
